Annual Educational Trip
19th March 2009 - Deerland & Elephant Santuary
After attending the “Good manners, posture & EQ” workshop during the 1st term holiday, we finally were on our way to Deerland & Elephant Sanctuary in a luxury coach!
At Deerland, we got to hand feed deer, rabbits, ostriches and mouse deer. We also patted sun bear and hedge-hog. There were many more beautiful animals like peacocks & birds too.
The weather was like burning fire when we arrived at Elephant Sanctuary. Nevertheless, we had much fun taking turn riding on the elephant, watching elephants bathing and swimming, and hand feed them!
We departed for Selangor Cultural Cove for our dinner and Mister/Miss Stars & Planet Contest! A delicious buffet dinner was served when the Orang Asli performed traditional cultural dance to entertain our members.
When the most talented emcee, Ethan Bong (10 years old) welcomed our little talents onto the stage to perform Hula-hoop, Wudo martial arts and Hip Hop dance, followed by parents and teachers’ Catwalk competition, everyone had a good laugh!
The excitement came when the winners’ were being announced by the teachers and parents judges’ team based on their pleasant personalities. The winner of Mister S&P was SEO DONG GYUN (8 years old) and Miss S&P was OLIVIA BONG (9 years old)!
